Resist, or it'll be the end of you. When Demorra's eyes are blood red linke that, it means she's hungry and needs to kill someone. She does live in a volcano, she's impervious to fire and lava especially so she uses the volcano as a refuge, sort of like a defense.
This is my first time writing an actual critique so don't hate me for it!
I think the overall picture is fairly original and the colors stand out beautifully. The pose is one that is very doable but not seen very often, especially when it comes to original pieces and trying to find something to go along with it. I applaud your creativity.
The biggest thing that I see that may be an error is the lighting. You have the shadows down, but I don't necessarily see a light source for the highlights that is not from the fire. And although I see you highlighted the underneath of her where the lava emits light, but I believe it would be brighter and cause the entire image to be more "realistic" to light. In other words, she seems too highlighted in comparison to the amount of light that is actually in the picture.
It's also harder to tell to see if she's actually allowing herself to be engulfed in lava or if she is merely enjoying "swimming" in it. Her outstretched arm and her back feet tell different stories (as far as the blending goes).
